Visual Narrative was founded to provide clients with pleasant image capturing experiences and the finest photo reproductions available. We're based out of Bloomington, Indiana. We photograph memories in and around the Bloomington area including Indianapolis, Columbus, and Carmel.
What differentiates Visual Narrative from other photographers?
- Our photographers are memory collectors. Rather than directing poses or obtrusively staging subjects, Visual Narrative photographers subtly fit into the landscape of the event to find and capture naturally occurring moments. Our hallmark is our photojournalistic style.
- Visual Narrative specializes in black and white photography with selective color enhancements to emphasize the raw moments of love, reflection, joy, pride, gratitude and a myriad of other human emotions.

Erica Dorocke, photojournalist
Erica Dorocke picked up her first camera many years ago as a high school student, quickly falling in love with the sound of the shutter's click and the magic of processing a roll of emulsion. As a collegiate newspaper photographer at ISU and then a creative director at AuthorHouse, Erica has validated what she's always known in her heart... photography tells stories in ways that often surpass the power of words. Bobby Samuel, photojournalist
Bobby Samuel found the creative world of photography and instantly grew to love what he discovered through the lens. It isn't unusual for Bobby to spend his afternoons exposing the images he loves to make: those of his family and friends. Capturing the human condition is special and very real for him.
